Course: CHS 345. History of the Mexican Peoples (3)
Prerequisite: Completion of the lower division writing requirement. History of the development of the Mexican peoples from the beginning of Spanish colonization (1521) to the present. Analysis of the interaction between politics and economics and the factors underlying Mexico’s economic underdevelopment also presented. Meets the Ethnic Studies requirement.
