Course: ECE 603. Biomedical Signal Processing (3)
Prerequisites: ECE 309/ME 309 and ECE 351, or instructor consent. The course focuses on application of discrete-time signal processing to measured biomedical signals. Topics include data acquisition and characteristics of physiologic and bioelectric signals, frequency and time-domain methods to analyze biomedical waveforms, methods for noise and artifact removal, event detection, and introduction to medical image analysis.
