The Klotz Student Health Center (SHC) is dedicated to providing the highest-quality healthcare to CSUN students. Services and educational programs are designed to help students maintain and improve their health and wellness, so they can better achieve their academic and professional goals.

All services provided to currently matriculated students are free or low-cost. Basic primary care provided by nurses, physicians, and nurse practitioners is free. X-rays, some laboratory tests, health education, sexual and reproductive health (some costs may apply), sports medicine, nutrition counseling, birth control and pregnancy options counseling, and tobacco cessation education are also free. Low-cost services include acupuncture, chiropractic, gynecology, optometry, physical therapy, travel clinic, and immunization services, some laboratory tests, as well as a full-service pharmacy for prescription and over-the-counter medications. In-person and telehealth appointments are available.

CSUN students under the age of 18 must have a signed Consent for Medical Treatment of Minors (.pdf) form prior to receiving services. This form can be obtained at the Klotz Student Health Center or from the website.
