Course: ENGL 368. Gay Male Writers (3)
Preparatory: Completion of the lower division writing requirement. Study of literary and cultural representations of gender and sex minorities with an emphasis on male identities including gay, bi, queer and trans plus genderqueer, nonbinary, and additional sexual orientations and gender expressions. Focused on historical and contemporary movements through the lens of queer theory, with particular attention to gay male writers and to diverse people and cultures.
