Prerequisites: 6 units of Philosophy. Advanced examination of the nature of the biological sciences, including their relation to other sciences and theories, or advanced study of one or more key concepts in the philosophy of biology, such as adaptation, complexity, self-organization, fitness, function, species, unit of selection, or evolutionary development.
