Prerequisite: Completion of the lower division writing requirement. Introduction to the study of historical and/or contemporary portrayals of disability in literature and/or popular culture. Focus on thinking about disability as a rhetorical and cultural phenomenon. Critical thinking and writing are an integral part of the course. Available for General Education, Area 3B Humanities.
