Course: AIS 211/L. Native Plant Sciences and Lab (2/1)
Corequisite: AIS 211L. Introduction to plant ecology through the lens of Indigenous studies. Overview of major plant ecology and Indigenous studies concepts including plant structures, cellular processes, inter and intra species interactions, Native plants and their uses, Green Imperialism, environment colonialism, and Biocultural conservation. Emphasis will be placed on California Native plants and biomes. 2 hours of lecture and 2 hours of lab per week.
