Course: ANTH 696A. Anthropological Research Design (3)
Prerequisite: Classified status. This seminar focuses on the development of anthropological research design and proposal writing. Students learn to analyze anthropological literature for methodological and theoretical choices related to a topic, generate research aims or questions, create an original thesis or project design, assess and mitigate ethical issues and risks, and write a proposal. Students complete a proposal and form a committee that will guide their thesis or graduate project.
