Course: CADV 210. Wired for Life: Brain Development from Conception to Young Adulthood (3)
This course surveys brain development from conception through early adulthood. Students will examine biological, environmental, and social factors that shape the human brain across critical periods of growth. The ongoing neurological changes that influence cognition, behavior, and emotional regulation into adulthood will also be discussed. By examining the science behind brain development, students will gain a deeper understanding of how internal and external factors shape the trajectory of human development. Available for General Education, Area 5B Biological Science.
