Course: CHS 408CS. Chicana/o Indigenous and Decolonizing Pedagogies in Education (3)
Students explore and practice the use of Chicana/o/x/Latinx/o/a/Indigenous and decolonizing pedagogies in education to promote high academic achievement, intergenerational cultural awareness, social-emotional well-being, and decolonization among racially/ethnically diverse children and families. This course requires 15 hours of community engagement in Chicano/a/x/Latinx/a/o/Indigenous Diasporic communities. Available for graduate credit.
