Course: COMP 469. Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (3)
Prerequisites: COMP 310, COMP 380/L, COMP 410. Exploration of the use of computers to perform computations normally associated with intelligence. These include game playing, theorem proving, problem solving, question answering and visual perception. Topics include languages, system architectures and heuristic strategies for advanced, high-level computations. Covers computational models for knowledge representation, natural language and vision. Available for graduate credit.
