Program: Minor in Emerging Media Production
Program Description
The Emerging Media Production minor in CTVA is designed to complement many majors including Art, Theatre, Family and Consumer Sciences, Music and Journalism.
The minor expands student experience with a foundation in immersive and interactive storytelling. Coursework covers production in a range of evolving new technologies offering opportunity for students to augment their skills and knowledge to create potential employment opportunities across a variety of industries.

Students will have completed one of the following courses from their major:

Program Learning Outcomes
Students receiving a minor in Emerging Media Production will be able to:
- Research and learn histories of emerging media technology and become familiar with evolving trends.
- Employ pre-production, production, and post-production techniques for a range of platforms specific to immersive and interactive technologies.
- Conceptualize, design and produce individual and collaborative projects.
