Course: ECE 642. Design of Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits (3)
Prerequisite: ECE 340 or instructor consent. This course covers fundamental concepts in the design of radio-frequency integrated circuits. The first half of the course begins with a review of MOS transistor and ends with concepts such as nonlinearity and noise. The second half of the course deals with the analysis and the design of commonly encountered radio-frequency integrated circuits such as low noise amplifiers, mixer, and oscillators. Students will complete a project at the end of the semester.
