Course: ECE 649. Design of Active Filters (3)
Prerequisite: ECE 340 or instructor consent. This course covers fundamental concepts in the design of active filters. The first half of the course begins with an overview of filters and their applications, followed by a review of CMOS transistors, and ends with the design of continuous-time transconductance-capacitor filters. The second half of the course begins with an introduction to discrete-time filters, followed by a review of z-domain analysis, and ends with the design of switched-capacitor filters.
