Course: FCS 324. Consumer Rights, Issues, and Problems (3)
Prerequisite: Completion of the Lower Division writing requirement. Economic principles as they apply to consumer situations, and the consumer’s relation to the American and world economy. An emphasis is placed on consumer rights and responsibilities, consumer fraud and protection, and decision making in the marketplace. The roles and responsibilities of public and private consumer protection agencies are evaluated. Meets the Lifelong Learning requirement.
