Geography and Environmental Studies

The Honors Program allows interested students to conduct quality research and complete the project under the close supervision of a faculty member.

Students in the Honors Program must:

1. Take GEOG 499C as one of the upper division GEOG electives and received a minimum grade of “B” in the course.
2. Complete all requirements for the Geographic Information Science major.
3. Maintain a GPA of 3.25 in the upper division Geographic Information Science major.
4. Present their GEOG 499C research project to peers and faculty from the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies.
