Geography and Environmental Studies

The Honors Program allows interested students to conduct quality research and complete the project under the close supervision of a faculty member.

Students in the Honors Program must:

1. Take GEOG 499C as one of the upper division GEOG electives and received a minimum grade of “B” in the course.
2. Complete all requirements for the Geography and Environmental Studies major.
3. Maintain a GPA of 3.25 in the upper division Geography and Environmental Studies major.
4. Present their GEOG 499C research project to peers and faculty from the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies.
