Course: HSCI 531. Program Planning for Community Health (3)
Prerequisite: HSCI 533. Preparatory: Graduate standing as a conditional or classified student in the MPH program. This course examines the principles and process of program planning for community health education and health promotion. Students will gain an in-depth study of various program planning models; health behavior theories; goals and objectives development; current trends and issues in program planning; practice-based methodologies; and skill areas such as Gnatt chart development, budget planning, project management, ethical considerations, as well as an introduction to program evaluation.
