Program: Leadership and Strategy in Healthcare Analytics Certificate
Program Description
The Leadership and Strategy in Healthcare Analytics Certificate is an online program consisting of three advanced courses that meld technical mastery with managerial acumen in healthcare analytics. This program prepares students for leadership roles by delving into subjects such as advanced statistics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and ethics in AI healthcare applications.
Program Requirements
A. Requirements for Admission to the Program
Applicants must fulfill the following requirements before enrollment. The department may make exceptions based on individual evaluations.
- Meet the basic university requirement for admission to graduate certificate programs.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related, IT, or data science field. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required. No standardized test scores are required for this certificate program.
- Successful completion of the Healthcare Data Management Certificate or significant work experience in Health IT.
- Submit a one-page written statement outlining the applicant’s interest in healthcare analytics and career goals.
- Provide a current resume or curriculum vitae.
- One letter of recommendation attesting to the applicant’s aptitude for graduate-level study and the healthcare industry.
Note: Applicants not meeting all the requirements may be considered on a case-by-case basis, and must address the specific reasons for any requirement waivers in their personal statement.

Students receiving a Leadership and Strategy in Healthcare Analytics Certificate will be able to:
- Apply complex statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and AI models to healthcare challenges.
