Course: SPAN 403. Spanish for Business (3)
Prerequisite: Completion of the lower division writing requirement. Recommended Preparatory: SPAN 101, SPAN 102, SPAN 103, or instructor consent. Spanish for Business is designed to prepare students for successful communication in the Spanish-speaking business world by studying basic business concepts and practicing real-life use of oral and written Spanish. Students will be introduced to essential Spanish business terminology and language use in business settings, including the Hispanic market in the United States, and will develop cross-cultural communication skills used frequently in business. This course is of interest to a wide range of professionals in fields such as accounting, business law, economics, finance, management, and marketing, among others.
