Course: MGT 440. Personnel Selection, Assessment, and Evaluation (3)
Prerequisites: MGT 380 and a grade of “C” or higher in MGT 360. BUS 312 and BUS 302L are prerequisites for Business majors. This course integrates theories and practices from human resource management, organizational behavior, and industrial-organizational psychology to provide a hands-on approach to managing human capital. Students will apply research methods, data analysis, and theories to understand how to hire applicants, manage employee job performance, diagnose employee motivational, health and other problems, and design appropriate interventions.
