Course: MPA 665. Analyzing and Managing Governance Networks in the Public Sector (3)
Public organizations operate within complex networks. Contemporary policy is designed, implemented and evaluated within networks of public, private and nonprofit organizations. To address wicked problems, these organizations interact and build governance capacity. In this course, students will learn about complexity, governance regimes, interorganizational and intersectoral collaboration. This course will prepare students to analyze the inter-organizational dimensions of policymaking and implementation within governance regimes.
