Examination of historical and contemporary theories of human nature and the meaning of life, with a view to examining ourselves and our relationship to the surrounding world. Questions might include: Are human beings naturally good or bad? Why are we here? What makes for a good or happy or meaningful life? Is it bad to die? Meets the Lifelong Learning requirement.
