Course: PSY 515. Transdisciplinary Collaboration in Assessment and Intervention (3)
Prerequisites: Graduate standing in Psychology, Special Education, or Communicative Disorders; SPED 615; and department consent. This course provides specialized content and training for transdisciplinary teams to deliver highly effective services to young children with disabilities and their families. Based on a theory-to-practice approach, this course will be co-taught by one faculty member from each discipline (i.e., Early Childhood Special Education teacher, Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, Speech-Language Pathologist) with a focus on applying the transdisciplinary teaming approach to collaboratively design and implement assessment and intervention in practice.
