Course: PT 704/L. Physiologic Principles of Rehabilitation and Lab (2/1)
Prerequisite: Admission to the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. Corequisite: PT 704L. Introduce and apply the principles of circulatory, respiratory, neuromuscular, connective tissue and metabolic physiology pertaining to physical therapy interventions, procedures and therapeutic exercise. This course will focus on clinical application of these principles to develop clinical reasoning. The lab course will emphasize application of the musculoskeletal system. Lab: 3 hours per week.
