Study of various expressions and practices of Spiritual But Not Religious (SBNR) widespread in modern Western societies. Topics may include Burning Man and other festivals, yoga, astrology, and neopaganism. This course looks at what distinguishes these practices from “traditional religions” and why they are practiced by many and viewed as acceptable for many who do not hold a favorable view on religion.
