Intersectional analysis of race, ethnicity, and identity in cities in the United States. This course will evaluate the role of power structures in shaping the city form through urban planning practices and its impact on social justice. Emphasis on critical thinking for developing an understanding of the subcultures and institutions that create and inform our distinct cultural landscapes.
