Program: B.S., Public Health

Overview

The B.S. in Public Health program is intended to prepare students with the skills needed to understand how to plan, implement and evaluate the educational components of health and human service programs. Public, voluntary and proprietary health and human service agencies, hospitals, organizations, industry and professional consulting firms that provide services to various governmental and private organizations employ graduates of Public Health. Appropriate advisement provides students flexibility in the selection of various health education career opportunities. These opportunities include health promotion, school health education, community health education and health education generalist.
