About the Program

In the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics graduate programs, mid-career professionals incorporate rigorous academic training into their business experience to enhance their careers, switch careers or become entrepreneurs. Classes are offered in the evenings and/or on the weekends. Graduate faculty who have a balance of teaching, research and business practice credentials facilitate active learning in small, diverse classes.

The College offers three master’s degrees: the Master of Business Administration (MBA), the Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA) and the Master of Science in Taxation (MST). Its pre-MBA Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (GCBA) is valued independently or as preparation for the CSUN Nazarian MBA.

The Nazarian College serves as the North American host for Grenoble Ecole de Management’s Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program. It also provides partial instructional support for the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media and Communication’s Master of Arts in Music Industry Administration and the College of Health and Human Development’s Graduate Certificate in Health Informatics.

Academic Advisement

General graduate student advisement is provided by the staff in Nazarian College’s Office of Graduate Programs in Business, as well as by the directors and staff in each individual program.

Accreditation

The David Nazarian College of Business and Economics is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Only 5 percent of business schools worldwide have achieved AACSB International accreditation.

Clubs and Societies
