The Liberal Studies Program offers advisement services to students who are interested in the three options of the Liberal Studies major: (1) the Pre-Credential Option, (2) the Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) Option for Elementary (Kindergarten-6th grade) school teachers, and (3) the Interdisciplinary Studies Option. Interested students must complete a group workshop. Students who have applied to CSUN and who have completed the workshop may schedule an individual appointment with an advisor. Liberal Studies also offers advisement for the Sustainability, Humanities and Russian minors. Students interested in the minors do not have to complete the Liberal Studies online workshop.
