Prerequisite: Upper division standing. Corequisite ART 483L. This course provides students with skills and experiences in teaching art in PK-12 classrooms with a focus on developing visual literacy. Topics include: the study of art, art education, curriculum development, traditional and emerging 2D/3D art materials, tools, and processes; and technology in art education. 1 hour lecture, 4 hours lab.
