BIOL 447/L. Full Immersion Research Experience (FIRE) and Lab (2/2)

Prerequisites: One of either BIOL 322, BIOL 360, or BIOL 380. Corequisite: BIOL 447L. A course-based undergraduate research experience in which students experience the entire process of science under the guidance of a faculty member and in collaboration with peers. Students review scientific literature, formulate novel hypotheses, design and perform original experiments, and practice scientific communication. Lecture 2 hours, lab 6 hours.
