Course: COMP 524. Cryptography and Computer System Security (3)
Prerequisites: Grade of “C-” or better in COMP 324, or IS 435. Analysis of the need for computer system security and the security techniques in operating systems, databases and computer networks. Supporting techniques, such as auditing, risk analysis and cost-benefit tradeoffs, are discussed. Advanced topics in cryptography and computer system security are also discussed.
