Prerequisite: Completion of the lower division writing requirement. Examination of feminist and gender theories impacting religious experience, roles, and perspectives in various religious traditions. Students in the course will articulate and employ gender, feminist, and queer methods of analysis to the production of religious knowledge and symbols, and how these shape the life of religious communities and their larger social contexts.
