Prerequisites: SPAN 306, SPAN 307. Study of the major works of Spanish literature from 1936 to the present, including those of writers exiled during the Spanish Civil War (1936-39). All works are studied within the framework of life in Spain during and after the Civil War and in relation to the Spanish literary tradition. Conducted in Spanish.
