Course: SPED 506DHC. Deaf Education Internship (6-6-6)
Prerequisites: SPED 506DHB; EED 565M or SED 525; SPED 416; SPED 563. Must be enrolled in the Education Specialist Internship Program. Passing the ASLPI is required prior to enrollment. The third course of a four-semester extended practicum for special education intern teachers in deaf education. Clinical supervision is provided through such means as videotaping and on-site visits by the university supervisor. Students meet with the supervisor to discuss instructional strategies, on-site observation and practicum activities. Must earn a grade of “B” or better. May be repeated twice for credit.
