The Office of Undergraduate Studies at CSUN collaborates with faculty, staff, and students to create an inclusive, uplifting academic environment. The office advances student success through curriculum support, impactful programs, and upholding academic standards, all grounded in equity and resilience. Our mission is to empower every member of the CSUN community to thrive and achieve their full potential.
The Office of Undergraduate Studies comprises four areas—Undergraduate Studies Central, Community Engagement, the Matador Achievement Center (MAC), and the General Education Honors Program—each dedicated to supporting student success and academic excellence.
Undergraduate Studies Central provides academic guidance, learning opportunities, curriculum and catalog support, articulation services, and leadership in maintaining academic standards across the university.
Community Engagement connects classroom learning with community impact through service-learning courses and partnerships that foster civic responsibility and experiential learning.
The Matador Achievement Center (MAC) supports student-athletes through advising, tutoring, academic support, and career preparation while helping them maintain NCAA eligibility.
The General Education Honors Program offers high-achieving students enriched learning experiences through honors coursework, research opportunities, and close faculty engagement.
