Honors at Graduation

To receive honors at graduation, a student must:

  1. 1. Complete a minimum of 45 units of work in letter-graded courses at CSUN;
  2. 2. Earn a GPA of 3.50 or above in all work taken at CSUN;
  3. 3. Earn the following GPA in all undergraduate courses, including transfer work:
Honors at Graduation
Category Requirement
Summa Cum Laude GPA of 3.90 or above
Magna Cum Laude GPA of 3.75 to 3.89
Cum Laude GPA of 3.50 to 3.74
