Program: Induction-Clear Administrative Services Credential
Program Description
The Induction-Clear Administrative Services Credential (I-CASC) program is a 2-year, individualized, job-embedded system of mentoring, support, and professional development and is restricted to candidates who have a valid and activated Preliminary Administrative Services Credential; are currently employed as an administrator in an educational setting; and need to earn the California Clear Administrative Services Credential. Candidates will be guided by a program coordinator/university supervisor, instructors of the induction-focused courses ELPS 685, ELPS 686, and ELPS 689 and a coach at the PK-12 school or school district site. Candidates complete a 24-unit program: 6 units each semester. Candidates develop an equity-driven Individualized Induction Leadership Plan (IILP) designed to strengthen their professional practice through self-assessment, goal setting and reflection aligned to the California Professional Standards for Educational Leaders.
Program Requirements
A. Requirements for Admission to the Program
- Holder of an activated Preliminary Administrative Services Credential.
- Holder of a valid teaching or services credential.
- Currently serving in an administrative position in an educational setting.
- Verification of employment as an administrator.
B. Special Requirements
An average of “B” or better maintained throughout the program. Competency assessment at the conclusion of the program.

Program Learning Outcomes
Students receiving a Induction-Clear Administrative Services Credential will be able to:
