The Theatre: Acting and Directing Minor enables students to study techniques of performance including voice, movement, acting and directing. Students enrolled in the minor are encouraged to participate in departmental productions.

The Theatre: Design and Production Minor focuses on the technical aspects of creating theatre. Areas of specialization at CSUN include scenery, costumes, lighting, projection/video, sound, and stage management. Students enrolled in the minor are encouraged to participate in departmental productions.

The Theatre: History and Literature minor enables students to study the words, traditions and cultural perspectives from different time periods and locations that bring theatre to life.
