Student teaching consists of one complete semester (full day assignment) in which the teacher candidate gradually assumes full responsibility for the instructional program. The candidate is provided supervision and guidance by the mentor teacher, and university supervisor. Candidates must register for SPED 580S (seminar) concurrently. A grade of “B” or better required to pass.
